(Rica) Frederica is the daughter Jacques and Bobbie were hoping for. Smart, engaging, unafraid, and above all, creative and artistic. She began drawing at a young age, but devoted herself to art after completing her studies in Switzerland.
Back in Paris, she attended Penninghen, the École Supèrieure des Arts Graphiques, where she embraced hyperrealism. This led to her working/studying with Pierre Peyrolles for 2 years before heading to the USA, where she enjoyed success with the local art scene. During that time she participated in a traveling expo of Madonna representations that reached the Vatican.
She returned to Paris and Switzerland in the 80's, espousing a new, abstract style that led to much work in her Gato Pardo style, and native American renderings. She was appointed, during the Presidency of Jacques Chirac, as the resident Élysée Palace curator under the auspices of the French Ministry of Culture. Rica now resides in Paris and her home in the Loire Valley.
